The voyage started many moons ago in 2018, Dutch Smuggler is a café and speciality roaster that celebrates Indonesian heritage and hospitality. The visual identity deeply reflects the brand’s philosophy and roots. Inspired by the pioneering spirit of coffee smugglers, who lived for the passion of the expedition and the quest to uncover new horizons, the identity is built around a strong sense of storytelling and exploration. Working alongside farmers from different regions of Indonesia to source the finest single-origin beans, Dutch Smuggler aims to elevate the heritage of Indonesian coffee and bring it to the forefront of coffee culture. Custom printed coffee labels and cards celebrate the rich history of Indonesian coffee cultivation, showcasing the unique characteristics of Indonesian varietals alongside popular international favourites.
